Acting as a key partner and right hand to the HR Director, the Sr. HR Generalist owns and manages core HR operations across a global environment. This role supports employees in the U.S. and Canada while partnering closely with our India counterparts to ensure alignment and consistency in HR operations.
The Sr. HR Generalist serves as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and is responsible for delivering a high-quality employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with leadership and management lines to provide guidance on employee matters and ensure consistent messaging and decision-making across the organization.
With ownership over critical HR processes and systems, the Sr. HR Generalist drives process standardization, data integrity, and continuous improvement to build scalable, efficient HR operations—while delivering high-quality employee experience.
Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote, professional services environment and operates with a high degree of autonomy. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, an equitable perspective, and the ability to independently manage both employee and leadership-facing matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, independently managing and resolving issues with sound judgment
- Partner with leadership and management lines to provide guidance on employee matters and ensure consistent application
- Support HR due diligence and post-close integration activities for M&A
- Manage and support performance review processes and employee feedback cycles
- Own and manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Own and manage LOA and accommodations processes, ensuring compliance, consistency, and a positive employee experience
- Own HRIS data integrity, reporting, and system administration
- Ensure compliance with employment laws (U.S. and Canada) and maintain accurate employee records
- Partner with leadership and the Total Rewards function to support the execution and ongoing management of benefits programs
- Execute compensation-related processes in partnership with the Total Rewards function
- Proactively identify trends and risks within employee populations and recommend solutions
- Drive process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement across HR operations
- Generate and analyze HR data to provide insights and support decision-making
- Own and deliver internal communications related to HR programs, updates, and initiatives
- Create and manage project plans for key HR initiatives, independently driving execution against defined goals and timelines
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in HR generalist, People operations, or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements across the U.S. and Canada
- Experience supporting HR operations in a fast-paced, professional services or consulting environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment
- Proven experience partnering with leadership and management teams to provide guidance and support
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Comfortable working in a remote, global environment and collaborating across functions
- Experience with HR systems and tools, including Salesforce (as a system of record for employee data), ADP (benefits and payroll), and exposure to additional platforms
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve day-to-day efficiency

- Travel Requirements
- All roles at Cloud for Good include a travel component. Business travel—both domestic and international—may be required based on project and client needs. The amount of travel will vary by role but is generally expected to be up to 20% annually.
