Role Overview 

The Salesforce Solution Specialist is responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of Cloud for Good’s internal Salesforce platform. This role operates within a global delivery model and works in close partnership with the U.S.-based Lead Salesforce Product Manager, executing against defined priorities, requirements, and success criteria. 

The Salesforce Solution Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring platform stability, data integrity, and timely delivery of enhancements, while supporting adoption and continuous improvement across the organization. 

This role is housed within the PFO team and reports to the Lead Salesforce Product Manager.  

Location: Virtual: Home-based office in the US or Canada 

Work Authorization: Citizens or Permanent Residents of USA or Canada. Cannot provide Visa 
sponsorship. 

Key Responsibilities 

Salesforce Administration & Configuration 

  • Administer and maintain Cloud for Good’s Salesforce org, including user management, security settings, profiles, roles, permissions, workflows, and data integrity. 
  • Configure and customize Salesforce features to align with defined business requirements and product direction. 
  • Support the implementation and rollout of new Salesforce functionality and enhancements. 

Delivery Execution  

  • Execute Salesforce workstreams as prioritized and defined by the Lead Salesforce Product Manager. 
  • Support configuration, development, testing, deployment, and post-release stabilization activities. 
  • Participate in testing activities, including system testing and UAT support, to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria. 

Reporting, Monitoring & Issue Resolution 

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business visibility and decision-making. 
  • Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues. 
  • Track, investigate, and resolve user-reported defects in a timely manner. 

User Support & Enablement 

  • Provide ongoing support to internal users on Salesforce functionality and best practices. 
  • Assist with training and enablement efforts to ensure users understand new features and processes. 
  • Ensure new processes and system updates are documented and communicated effectively. 

Documentation & Continuous Improvement 

  • Create and maintain as-built technical documentation to support future enhancements and platform continuity. 
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, recommending optimizations as appropriate. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing functionality and surface potential improvements. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 4–6+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration or solution delivery experience 
  • Strong experience with Salesforce configuration, automations, reporting, and data management 
  • Experience working within a global or offshore delivery model 
  • Ability to execute clearly defined requirements with accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with U.S.-based stakeholders 
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (Advanced Admin a plus) 
  • Preferred experience supporting GTM organizations, including Sales, Alliances, Marketing, and Revenue Operations. 
  • Preferred experience in professional services environments. 
  • Exposure to Agile or iterative delivery models

  • Travel Requirements 
  • All roles at Cloud for Good include a travel component. Business travel—both domestic and international—is required based organizational priorities. The amount of travel will vary by role but is generally expected to be up to 20% annually. Travel is considered an essential part of this position. 
  • Work Environment 
  • Cloud for Good is a fully remote company. Team members are expected to maintain a professional, distraction-free workspace that is camera-ready for video meetings. Collaboration takes place across Zoom, Office 365, and Salesforce during standard business hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone). 
  • Time Zone Alignment 
  • Cloud for Good is a global organization with operations in India and North America. As a finance team member, you may be required to adjust your work hours occasionally to align with your team members’ time zones to support effective communication, collaboration, and priorities.
