The Account Executive will be responsible for selling Salesforce based consulting services to nonprofit and educational organizations. Cloud for Good is seeking experienced technology professionals to lead Salesforce.com implementation projects with a variety of nonprofit organizations. Successful candidates will be highly experienced in deploying Salesforce solutions for nonprofit organizations. You need to be a Salesforce expert and speak fluent nonprofit.

This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to juggle a number of projects at once. Because most of the work is client facing, communication skills and a genuine interest in helping people is very important. The ability to collaborate with peers and clients while building consensus is also critical for success.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Salesforce.com administrator certification (Consulting certifications preferred)
  • Familiarity working with nonprofit organizations and/or educational institutions
  • A strong understanding of Salesforce consulting (1-2 years of experience preferred)
  • Proven track record of continuously improving organizations they’ve worked for
  • Strong time management & communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity

  • Assess client business requirements and create requirements and design documentation
  • Ensure projects are on time and within budget

The Solutions Architect will be highly experienced in deploying Salesforce solutions for nonprofit organizations, have strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time. You need to be a Salesforce expert and speak fluent nonprofit.

Travel: Maximum 20%

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of five years Solution Architect experience, excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Six to seven years of IT experience, advanced skills in Salesforce, Force.com, Business Analysis and Project Scoping.
  • Solid experience in Data Modeling concepts and tools.
  • Applied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services and Marketing functions. Nonprofit experience is a huge plus.
  • Ability to develop practical solutions and methodologies as related to Salesforce.
  • Exposure to Workday and Cornerstone on Demand are another added bonus.

Job Description:

  • The Solutions Architect (SA) should have sound knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales and Service Clouds and will be responsible for successfully creating custom applications using Force.com and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems.
  • In this capacity, the SA will be an expert in Force.com application development, Salesforce.com integration and extension, features, designing solutions, using the Force.com API, APEX, Visualforce, applications from the AppExchange and other tools that extend the product.
  • SA should provide technical guidance to the development of Salesforce.com applications to support business and product strategies.
  • He/She must be able to lead a technical requirements gathering session, oversee and approve creation and maintenance of application and system documentation used in design, testing or programming efforts and manage the integration process.
  • The Solutions Architect will look for synergies between the various SaaS product offerings in terms of application and infrastructure and will offer guidance on best practices and efficiencies in utilization.
  • The Solutions Architect will also work with Account Executives in a Sales Engineering function to appropriately scope project proposals.
  • Evaluate all SaaS vendors operational practices, security and system architectures.
  • Salesforce certification (Admin, Dev, Advanced Admin, Advanced Dev, etc) required.
