We’re looking for an exceptional sales professional  – someone who knows Salesforce and can speak fluent nonprofit. The Account Executive will be responsible for selling Salesforce based consulting services to nonprofit and educational organizations. This role is responsible for acquiring new clients as well as developing existing clients.

Location: Remote, San Francisco or DC are a plus.

Travel: Maximum 30%

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations and/or educational institutions
  • Experience managing Salesforce as an admin or a consultant (certifications are plus)

The Director is responsible for overseeing and leading consulting activities, including the management of multiple projects to include execution of assessments and project plans, achievement of deliverables and mentorship of Cloud for Good consulting teams.  This includes oversight and leadership of multiple teams in all aspects of the consulting service offerings. Successful candidates will be highly experienced in deploying Salesforce solutions for nonprofit organizations, have strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time. You need to be a Salesforce expert and speak fluent nonprofit.

Location: Remote

Travel: Maximum 20%

Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of professional services staff, providing coaching and professional development through periodic 1:1 and team meetings.
  • Participates in the performance management process through goal setting and performance reviews for staff under their responsibility
  • Participate in consulting projects as a senior resource (Project Management and Senior Business Analyst roles).
  • Support the resource planning, cross-company visibility, and profitability model for professional services through direct project management and for monitoring of projects under their team’s responsibility
  • Support the development of scalable implementation models to support Cloud for Good’s client base.
  • Act as the first-level customer escalation contact for technical support issues, representing the company and client needs professionally, while supporting and championing his/her staff.
  • Monitor and message internal expectations on key business metrics such as delivery of service, client satisfaction, and system performance.
  • Work with clients and engagement teams to anticipate project risks, resolve issues, consistently meet deadlines and achieve 100% client satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback and best practices from client engagements to improve and refine Cloud for Good’s Service Offerings.
  • Collaborate with all functional areas of the business to ensure effective knowledge sharing and team participation in Cloud For Good’s growth.
  • Be a role model for Cloud for Good’s culture and values.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in client services, and/or consulting services.
  • 3+ years experience in managing Salesforce implementations or services engagements in a consultative model.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years managing customer deployment and/or professional services engagements in a consultative model.
  • Experience in project and portfolio management.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing professional services best practices.
  • Prior experience managing staff in a project or professional services environment.
  • Must show a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Partner Track Certification (Developer or Cloud Consultant certification).
  • Proven experience leading clients and engagement teams through complex solution implementations.
  • Ability to lead simultaneous initiatives in an entrepreneurial culture.
  • Multi-task oriented with desire to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong, proactive leadership skills.

Additional Notes

Travel dependent on requirements.  Typical travel engagements will include Salesforce conferences (Dreamforce, Cloudforce, Salesforce Essentials), Managerial and Executive meetings, business travel for strategic sales or client engagements, and requested attendance to industry events.

The Solutions Architect will be highly experienced in deploying Salesforce solutions for nonprofit organizations, have strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time. You need to be a Salesforce expert and speak fluent nonprofit.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of five years Solution Architect experience, excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Six to seven years of IT experience, advanced skills in Salesforce, Force.com, Business Analysis and Project Scoping.
  • Solid experience in Data Modeling concepts and tools.
  • Applied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services and Marketing functions. Nonprofit experience is a huge plus.
  • Ability to develop practical solutions and methodologies as related to Salesforce.
  • Exposure to Workday and Cornerstone on Demand are another added bonus.

Job Description:

  • The Solutions Architect (SA) should have sound knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales and Service Clouds and will be responsible for successfully creating custom applications using Force.com and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems.
  • In this capacity, the SA will be an expert in Force.com application development, Salesforce.com integration and extension, features, designing solutions, using the Force.com API, APEX, Visualforce, applications from the AppExchange and other tools that extend the product.
  • SA should provide technical guidance to the development of Salesforce.com applications to support business and product strategies.
  • He/She must be able to lead a technical requirements gathering session, oversee and approve creation and maintenance of application and system documentation used in design, testing or programming efforts and manage the integration process.
  • The Solutions Architect will look for synergies between the various SaaS product offerings in terms of application and infrastructure and will offer guidance on best practices and efficiencies in utilization.
  • The Solutions Architect will also work with Account Executives in a Sales Engineering function to appropriately scope project proposals.
  • Evaluate all SaaS vendors operational practices, security and system architectures.
  • Salesforce certification (Admin, Dev, Advanced Admin, Advanced Dev, etc) required.
