Every new year I reflect on the healthy habits I aim to maintain, develop, or enhance. While many focus on hitting the gym, adopting a healthier diet, or upping their water intake for better physical health, it’s easy to overlook the well-being of our technology. In the Salesforce ecosystem, this means consistent feature enhancements, backlog refinement, and adopting automation and flows for greater efficiency. In order to keep pace, many of our customers opt for Salesforce Managed Services.

Managed service providers can proactively monitor the system, identify potential issues, and apply necessary updates and patches to keep the platform running smoothly.
- Scalability and Flexibility: As businesses grow and evolve, their Salesforce needs may change. Managed service providers can help scale the Salesforce environment up or down as needed, ensuring that it aligns with the organization’s current objectives and requirements.
- Cost Efficiency: Utilizing managed services for Salesforce can be cost-effective compared to hiring and training an in-house team of Salesforce experts. Managed service providers typically offer flexible pricing models, allowing businesses to pay only for the services they need when they need them.
- Focus on Core Business Activities: Partnering with a managed service provider allows businesses to focus on their core competencies and strategic initiatives rather than getting bogged down by the technical details of managing the Salesforce platform.

Creating Efficiency for Dartmouth Institute Vaccine Confidence Study
The Dartmouth Institute was given a grant to study vaccine confidence in those who work in long-term care facilities. Salesforce was utilized to manage the tracking of over 1,800 participants and which of three study interventions they were assigned (webinar, social media website, usual information).
The Cloud for Good Managed Services Team worked with The Dartmouth Institute to create automations within Salesforce that supported participant management activities across the 12-month study. The study relied heavily on scheduled paths in flows for communications, Zoom integration for webinars, Qualtrics integration for surveys, and Mogli integration for SMS messaging.
This highly automated participant management system helped create efficiency for The Dartmouth Institute research team, facilitating the successful completion of the study.
Emergency Response Campaigns with Hadassah
Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for and commitment to the land, the people, and the future of Israel. Through education, advocacy, and youth development, and its support of medical care and research at Hadassah Medical Organization, Hadassah enhances the health and lives of people in Israel, the United States, and worldwide.
In response to the tragic attack on Israel in late 2023, Hadassah leaped into action to support the people facing a human rights crisis. With the help of Digital Managed Services setting Hadassah up with email, events, and donation tracking, they were able to structure an emergency campaign to support its internal resources. The Hadassah team very quickly set up and launched a donation page solely for Israel support, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars from thousands of donors within 48 hours of the campaign launch. Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Managed Services was able to support the team in responding quickly and impactfully.
Creating Exceptional Constituent Experiences for Easterseals MORC
Easterseals MORC is leading the way to 100% equity, inclusion, and access for people with disabilities, families, and communities. The organization has always been at the forefront of technology innovation, having migrated from Blackbaud to Salesforce for fundraising effectiveness, utilizing Service Cloud for programs, creating call center integrations, and implementing chatbots to help limit the barriers of entry for support.
One area that wasn’t keeping up with their technology transformation was their web form for referrals for their services. As part of a routine health check, their Managed Services Team identified a more constituent-friendly solution powered by FormAssembly. This strategic initiative provided immediate ROI, with an increase in constituents filling out their forms and providing the right information, allowing Easterseals to serve more people.
