SAE has partnered with Cloud for Good for many years on several projects, including migrating from Raiser’s Edge to Salesforce, implementing Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote Software), and leveraging Managed Services to provide continued support for the technology. Across these projects, SAE Marketing and Sales teams had managed the suite of Salesforce solutions, but an internal shift eventually passed the reigns over to the SAE IT department.

SAE needed to quickly build a team that could support IT in leveraging the Salesforce system while also finding an administrator solely dedicated to the overall health of the org. More specifically, the system administrator would be responsible for creating a standard set of data imports, fields, profiles, roles, etc., building reports and dashboards, and establishing standard operating procedures to onboard new affiliates into Salesforce.
With so many high-priority responsibilities on the would-be system administrator’s plate, time was of the essence in SAE’s search to avoid any dips in productivity.

Soon thereafter, a Talent for Good Salesforce Analyst, who was now Salesforce-certified following completion of the Talent for Good training program, joined SAE to fill the vacant system administrator position.
In addition to Salesforce certification, Talent for Good also allowed the Analyst to become onboarded on CPQ to directly address SAE International’s unique Salesforce configuration and specific needs. The ability to provide Talent for Good apprentices with support scaled to unique talent needs is yet another advantage of the program made available to both apprentices and their end clients.
