Tips to Getting the Most From This Virtual Event

Tip 1: Take advantage of this being a FREE virtual event.

There are five different tracks that you can choose from for the Nonprofit Summit, including Increase Fundraising Agility, Improving the Constituent Experience, Optimizing Data and Reporting, Managing and Scaling Your Platform.  You can, of course, mix and match, but it may be wise to ask colleagues from other departments to join the event and attend sessions on a different track than yours.

Tip 2: Get Involved

During the event, you will want to make sure you are interacting as much as possible. We rarely get to see so many of our peers, industry leaders, and subject matter experts in one spot. And has made a ton of investments to make sure this event is perfect and provides a great user experience for all attendees. Do not be afraid to ask questions, network, or interact with your peers in the chat and make sure to use all of the other features that the platform has to offer.

One great opportunity to network is during the roundtable sessions. These are interactive sessions designed to connect you with other nonprofits interested in the same topics you are. You will be able to hear how other organizations are overcoming challenges, innovating, and then add to the conversation by sharing your unique insight.

Tip 3: Keep the Momentum Going

Once the event concludes, you should try and meet with your team and other departments who attended the event to share knowledge and brainstorm ways you can implement those best practices into your organization.

Follow Cloud for Good, Salesforce, and other speakers on LinkedIn or Twitter to keep the conversation going. You can also sign up for Trailhead – a gamified approach to learning Salesforce. It will help you learn more about the products you’ve just heard about in a much more technical way.
