Cloud for Good Gives Thanks

Cloud for Good's executive team discussing what they are most thankful for in 2022.

As the holiday season arrives and we all prepare for cherished time with friends and family, Cloud for Good knows we have much to be thankful for.  Each passing year brings with it new services, new partnerships, and new ways in which we can help nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions do what they do better through Salesforce technology.

We can’t help but feel eternally grateful to our clients, partners, and of course, our incredible Goodies that help drive our commitment to excellence.  Below you’ll hear from Cloud for Good’s Executive Team as they reflect on what they are most thankful for this holiday season.

At the start of 2022, as an organization, we challenged ourselves to achieve unprecedented growth while keeping client success and impact as a top company value.  Wow, what a year it has been!  We not only exceeded those growth goals but did so by ensuring our clients were able to meet their missions and impact their constituents and employees in truly transformational ways.  I am forever thankful to our clients for trusting us to be a part of their journeys and help positively impact the world.  Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!

I’m perpetually thankful for the opportunity Cloud for Good presents me to do what I love with clients I’m passionate about.  Our company continues to grow at an incredible rate, and that growth allows us to, in turn, grow the team with intelligent, compassionate people ready to elevate our clients.  Each new offering we present to the Salesforce ecosystem, whether that be new services like Talent for Good and Campaign Services or new partnerships and accelerators, is another flag we can plant in the ground as the premier company for technology difference-makers in both the nonprofit and higher education spaces.  I couldn’t be more thankful for what Cloud for Good and each and every Goodie has helped us achieve.

I have so much to be thankful for as Cloud for Good begins to close the chapter on our collective 2022.  First, our people.  Our Goodies are whip-smart, fun, caring, and so creative.  They truly care about doing great work, showing up for each other, and making Cloud for Good a great place to work.  We are not only attracting but also retaining a diverse staff, with over 20% of our Goodies identifying as BIPOC and over 50% identifying as women or nonbinary.  I’m also thankful to get to work for a company whose mission is to add value to organizations seeking to make the world a better place.  I feel fortunate to put my professional efforts behind bettering the impact and missions of organizations like CARE, Planned Parenthood, Indiana University, Human Rights Watch, and so many more.  Finally, while growing our core business by significant margins this year, we also introduced Talent for Good to solve staffing challenges internally and for the ecosystem at large.  It’s been such a treat watching our apprentices grow into consultants ready to help make waves across our nonprofit, education, and data teams.

2022 has been a busy year.  Cloud or Good launched our Campaign Services practice, established Talent for Good (the first Registered Apprenticeship in the Salesforce ecosystem), and announced new partnerships with AWS and Snowflake.  However, more than anything, I am thankful for our Goodies, who continue to care for each other, innovate, and deliver exceptional service on a daily basis.  Our leadership team is one thing that sets us apart from the competition.  Together, we continue to make sure our team feels supported and can see the potential for growth at Cloud for Good.  In our recent staff engagement survey, 97% of our staff felt that their leaders care about them and their development; that is an incredible number, and something I’m so thankful for.
