On Wednesday, May 31, 2017, the Salesforce World Tour will make a stop at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. The World Tour begins at 8:00 am and wraps up with a networking reception in the Customer Success Expo that concludes at 6:00 pm. This is a great opportunity for nonprofits to attend a full day of sessions and connect with other members of the Salesforce community. Learn more about the latest Salesforce announcements and products, including Einstein, Lightning, and more.
Check out the Trailhead Zone and start your path to success. If you haven’t explored Trailhead yet, give it a try at the World Tour in Boston. Learn more about Salesforce features through interactive, online courses and earn badges along the way. May 31st will be an information-packed day of learning and networking. Hear insights from Salesforce executives and find out how other Customer Trailblazers, partners, and product experts are using Salesforce to connect to their customers in a whole new way.
Our Vice President of Operations, and Salesforce MVP, Will Nourse, will be speaking in the Admin Theater at 3:30 pm. Be sure to check out his session “How to Talk to Developers as a Nonprofit Admin.” For many Nonprofit admins, who may be ‘”accidental techies,” talking to a developer can be a scary experience. Get some quick tips and techniques to take some of that fear away and have a successful project.
At 4:30 pm in the Admin Theater, our Director of Financial Applications, Susan Sparks, will be speaking about process automation. Join her session “Process Automation: Which Tool to Choose” and learn which tools (Workflows, Process Builder, Approvals, Visual Workflow) will help you maximize your usage of clicks, not code.
In addition to these presentations, Cloud for Good has two customers presenting at this World Tour. Citizen Schools will be presenting the pre-keynote and Harvard will be presenting at a Higher Ed Session at 3:00 pm, titled “Innovating Together: Harvard and the Connected Campus.” Be sure to check out Corey Snow in Room 304.
