Here at Cloud for Good, we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt and overcome any hurdle we might face. The ability to improvise and remain nimble is what sets our Goodies apart, and those skills were never more necessary than they were in 2020. While the circumstances were unforeseen, Cloud for Good had a historic year in its own right: celebrating our 10th anniversary, being recognized as the Salesforce.org Nonprofit Consulting Partner of the Year for the second year in a row, as well as experiencing record growth and deliverability on our clients’ vital missions. As we approach the end of this historic year, our executive team would like to take this moment and reflect on 2020.

We know that 2020 has been a challenging year for many. Despite the difficulties, I believe we, as a company and as a people, can learn so much from this past year. As a distributed workforce, Cloud for Good has been able to not only maintain our commitment to our clients but also expand our offerings and grow. The belief in the power of cloud-based technologies and delivering transformation through virtual environments has been part of our company culture from day one. We have been able to share that experience with many of our clients, ensuring they could continue delivering on their missions without missing a beat. The new connections we’ve forged, and those we’ve strengthened, have helped us keep sight of what really matters in life: family, friends, and creating quantifiable change in our world through technology. On behalf of everyone at Cloud for Good, I wish you and your family Happy Holidays. I look forward to heading into 2021 with both optimism and determination to continue making the world a better place for one another.

I could not be prouder of how our team showed up each day in the midst of 2020’s challenges; not only for each other but also for our clients and their respective teams. Our success in some ways was not a surprise at all to me, because I know just how prepared we remain as a company to withstand unforeseen challenges. It’s all about the culture we’ve built and sustained here at Cloud for Good. Like the great Vince Lombardi once said, “Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” 2020 was undeniably a group effort and every last team member at Cloud for Good showed up to ensure our success.

Like me, you may have welcomed in 2020 with the excitement and fresh optimism one feels at the start of the year. We could never have known how challenging this year would be for so many of us. The clients we serve, in both nonprofit and higher education, were themselves being faced with unprecedented obstacles. What I saw, continuously, was how our clients responded and forged completely new paths, with one unifying goal – to serve their constituents and achieve their missions, no matter the obstruction. It continues to inspire me, even at this writing, how so many of our clients fought for those they serve – to create a better world no matter what stood in their way. I am very proud of the work we, at Cloud for Good, did to help those organizations drive that transformation. We shared a mutual goal – their success, and through that core value, we are helping them change lives. A special thank you to all of the organizations and institutions which allowed us to be a part of that journey. As we approach 2021, we still face many of the same challenges from 2020 and new ones as well, but I maintain that fresh optimism and excitement knowing that the best of humanity is still to come. Wishing everyone Happy Holidays, and a very Happy New Year!

Oh, 2020! While I’m happy to say goodbye to 2020, I am grateful for what it taught us and how it brought us together. I’ve always known that Cloud for Good is comprised of some of the best and most talented people on the planet. What I learned is that a group of people spread across 30+ states and 5 provinces can actually get stronger when we’re up against a situational challenge. We worked together to pivot with speed and grace to support clients, to find virtual solutions to connect with each other, and to even have a little fun along the way! I won’t miss 2020, but I’ll leave it proud to be a Goodie and proud of the impact we drove in 2020. Here’s to 2021!
