March 18, 2022 [Asheville, NC] – Today Cloud for Good announced Western Michigan University (WMU) as the latest higher education institution partner for the Talent for Good apprenticeship program. Talent for Good paves the way for new and recent graduates to secure good entry-level jobs as developers, administrators, analysts, and consultants within the Salesforce ecosystem. With this announcement, WMU becomes the first Cloud for Good client to also become a Talent for Good partner.
With the acceleration of digital transformation from the COVID-19 pandemic, many of America’s over 10 million unfilled jobs are in fast-growing sectors of the tech economy like Salesforce. Employers are currently unable to fill hundreds of thousands of Salesforce developer and admin positions, and the growth of the Salesforce ecosystem will require another 2.9 million trained workers in the U.S. in just the next 3 years. WMU joins Pepperdine, the University of North Texas, Dallas College, Community College of Rhode Island, and Arizona State University in partnering with Cloud for Good to help launch careers in the Salesforce ecosystem.
