Cloud for Good is looking for a contracted UX/UI (User Experience/User Interface) designer who is responsible for creating digital experiences that are user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional. Their primary goal is to ensure that users can navigate and interact with digital products seamlessly, enhancing user satisfaction and engagement.
Location: Virtual – home-based office in the US.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Strong Salesforce UX/UI Experience: Seeking a candidate with a demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. The ideal candidate should be skilled in crafting intuitive and visually appealing interfaces within the Salesforce ecosystem, enhancing user adoption and overall system usability.
Responsibilities may include:
- Design Discovery / User Research: Attend client discovery calls to conduct research to understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences. Gather insights through methods like surveys, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- User Flows and Wireframing: Create user flows and wireframes to outline the structure and layout of digital interfaces. These blueprints ensure a logical and intuitive user journey through the product. Proficiency with Invision strongly preferred.
- Information Architecture: Organize content and information in a clear and coherent manner, making it easy for users to find what they need quickly.
- Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes that simulate the user experience. These prototypes help identify usability issues and validate design concepts before development.
- Visual Design: Craft the visual elements of the user interface, including color schemes, typography, icons, and images, to create an aesthetically pleasing and consistent design. Familiarity with SLDS a plus.
- Interaction Design: Design interactive elements such as buttons, navigation menus, and animations to guide users through the interface and enhance engagement.
- Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing with real users to identify any pain points, gather feedback, and refine the design based on user insights.
- Collaborating with Technical Staff: Work closely with members of the technical team to ensure that the design is implemented accurately and that any technical limitations are considered during the design process.
- Accessibility: Ensure that the design follows accessibility guidelines to make the product usable by people with disabilities, promoting inclusivity.
- Iterative Design: Continuously refine and iterate on the design based on user feedback and evolving project requirements.
- User-Centered Design: Keep the user at the center of the design process, making decisions based on their needs and preferences.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders, such as clients and team members, and justify design choices based on research and user needs, including leading client calls to present designs and the user journey.
- Keeping Up with Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure that designs are modern and innovative.
In essence, a UX/UI designer is responsible for creating digital experiences that balance aesthetics, functionality, and user needs.
