Cloud for Good is seeking a leader for their new Last Mile Training program to develop and deliver Salesforce training programs for several different roles. The program is called Talent for Good (TFG).
The TFG Lead will stand up the training program and lead enablement for Cloud for Good’s ambitious new Salesforce apprenticeship program, including designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce training curricula and mentorships. The TFG program will engage exceptional recent graduates seeking to launch Salesforce careers and train them for careers across a variety of Salesforce clouds, roles, and functionalities.
In addition, candidates should have:
- Fluency in current Salesforce training programs (e.g., Trailhead, Partner University)
- Experience in Salesforce implementation consulting
- Passion for workforce development and a genuine interest in helping job seekers
- Instructional design, curriculum development, and teaching experience is a plus
Location: Virtual: Home-based office in US or Canada; some travel required for marketing, in-person training sessions
Work Authorization: Citizens or Permanent Residents of USA or Canada. Cannot provide Visa sponsorship.

Qualifications
- Experience consulting on Salesforce implementations (minimum 3 years experience preferred, agile methodology experience preferred)
- Experience designing and delivering Salesforce trainings
- Salesforce certified and strong Salesforce configuration knowledge
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce training available in market (e.g., Trailhead)
- Strong project management skills including consulting, time management, collaboration, communication
- Experience in the learning & development field; preferably leading training programs end to end from training design, curriculum development, training delivery, feedback and impact management
- Knowledge of instructional design best practices such as evidence based online delivery models (e.g., gamified learning); integration of online learning, assessment and team projects in a bootcamp style format
- Experience monitoring employee/student outcomes and behaviors to improve learning experience
- Demonstrated success in leading trainings for cohorts of 20+ trainees
- Proven track record of continuously delivering on employer expectations
- Commitment to solving the Salesforce talent gap
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Master’s degree in learning and development is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and project manage Cloud for Good’s Talent for Good rollout
- Set vision and direction for classroom training and ongoing learning and development experiences for apprentices
- Partner with Cloud for Good colleagues and key customers to develop role descriptions for TFG talent/apprentices
- Design trainings (curriculum content, duration, delivery) to meet TFG role requirements in partnership with the Designer/Trainer
- Leverage both available market training resources (e.g., Trailhead) and inhouse expertise (e.g., day to day expectations of a junior Cloud for Good developer) in training design
- Work closely with cross functional TFG team members to successfully rollout TFG across Cloud for Good
- Lead implementation of training across multiple cohorts and Salesforce roles
- Lead training of other trainers (as required) to rollout TFG
- Deliver trainings on time and within budget
- Maintain weekly cadence of steering committee meetings to update on progress and results of trainings with key stakeholders
- Create KPI’s, metrics to measure training effectiveness (e.g., success of LMT graduates in roles, success of LMT graduates in Salesforce certification exams)
- Conduct proactive QA and iteration of trainings based on real time feedback from trainees, peers and customers and based on results from KPIs, metrics of training effectiveness
- Serve as first escalation point for issues with trainings for LMT program, provide internal and external status updates, manage budget and scope, monitor and mitigate training risks
- Mentor and lead apprentices on their TFG journey
- Be responsible for apprentice feedback and performance management
- Provide informal mentorship, and facilitate knowledge-sharing and growth opportunities across training cohorts
- Serve as an expert in Salesforce last mile training opportunities, provide feedback on how TFG program can improve and evolve over time
- Perpetually contribute to the betterment of Cloud for Good
