Recruiter in the US or Canada

Cloud for Good is seeking an experienced technical and functional recruiter to manage a variety of Salesforce talent searches and hiring processes for our rapidly growing team. The Recruiter should have a proven track record of sourcing, screening and providing strong pipeline of diverse candidates for Salesforce consulting, technical and sales roles.  Experience sourcing passive talent, developing long-term talent relationships, and facilitating hiring processes is a must. The most competitive candidates will have the ability to promote Cloud for Good’s #BestTeamEver employer brand and ensure we have the very best possible people on our team. This role reports to the VP of People and Operations. 

Location: Virtual: Home-based office in the US or Canada 

Travel: Maximum 5-10% 


  • Source and engage an exceptional talent pool for job openings 
    • Source potential candidates from LinkedIn, Salesforce communities and other niche platforms to create diverse pipelines of candidates  
    • Write and post job descriptions on Cloud for Good’s website, LinkedIn and other platforms 
    • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates  
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience, reflecting Cloud for Good’s values  
    • Screen resumes and applications  
    • Perform screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities, skills, and interest 
    • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)  
    • Compose job offer letters and engage candidates in offer discussions  
  • Coordinate with VP, People & Operations, as well as Services, Sales and other team leaders to hire new team members 
    • Forecast hiring needs and goals 
    • Manage job openings, pipelines and recruitment reporting 
  • Promote Cloud for Good’s employer brand 
    • Develop and facilitate virtual recruiting events, CFG career videos or related media 
    • Manage Cloud for Good’s LinkedIn Career Page and content 
    • Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals 
    • Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work 
  • Support new hire onboarding, as needed 
  • Keep up-to-date with new Salesforce trends, products, certifications 
  • Serve as an energetic ambassador of Cloud for Good’s #BestTeamEver brand 


Required Abilities / Experience / Education: 

  • Proven work experience as a Salesforce or related Technical Recruiter 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce community and key recruiting pockets of potential  
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media outreach; working with passive candidates, etc)  
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (virtual, panel, etc) 
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for Salesforce consulting roles including but not limited to cloud consultants, developers, architects, integration specialists, etc. 
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases 
  • Experience engaging and recruiting passive candidates 
  • Passion for diversity and inclusion in recruitment 
  • Experience working with executive teams and across all staff levels required and bridging gaps across teams 
  • Being a self-starter is a must: professional, reliable, responsive, and ability to anticipate needs 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal 
  • Strong customer service orientation 
  • Must be a team-player and able to work effectively independently 
  • Industry experience in nonprofit and/or higher education a plus 
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
