Cloud for Good is seeking experienced technology professionals to lead Salesforce implementation projects with nonprofit organizations or higher education institutions. Successful candidates will be highly experienced in Salesforce implementation and improvement projects and ideally have nonprofit or higher education industry experience.
The Business Architect should have extensive knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales, Service, Experience, and either Nonprofit or Education Clouds. They will be responsible for successfully creating custom applications using Force.com for nonprofit or education use cases. Typical projects may include custom architectures built on top of the NPSP or EDA, Flow, Experience Sites, and applications from the AppExchange that extend the Force.com platform. The Business Architect will provide technical guidance to the development of Salesforce.com applications and business analysis expertise to ensure the final solution meets the client’s needs.
Location: Virtual: Home-based office in the US or Canada

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Salesforce certified (Administrator and Nonprofit Cloud Consultant or Education Cloud Consultant required; Salesforce Solution Architect specialization certifications preferred)
- Minimum of three years technical implementation experience across multiple organizations, multiple clouds; NPSP or EDA implementation experience a plus
- Demonstrated success as the lead business analyst on a project larger than $1M
- Demonstrated success as the lead solution designer on a project larger than $1M
- Experience leading discovery sessions, gathering requirements, and writing user stories
- Strong consulting skills, including project and time management, communication, and teamwork/collaboration
- Industry knowledge of nonprofits (gift processing, moves management, program management, etc.) and/or higher education (executive education program management, student retention, recruitment and admissions, advancement, etc.)
- Experience working in an Agile Salesforce implementation project environment
- Proven track record of continuously improving organizations

- Strong technical Salesforce data model and solution design skills up to but not including APEX or Lightning Web Component development (APEX or LWC development skill not required, but helpful)
- Salesforce environment management and deployment skills (Gearset experience a plus)

- Knowledge of Salesforce products, features, and platform limits for solution design consideration

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the business analysis and/or solution design for 1-2 simultaneous Salesforce implementations
- Work collaboratively with technical Solution Architect, Developers and Configurators to determine appropriate solutions that will satisfy the client’s business needs
- Gather requirements and write user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed proposed solutions
- Support the project manager and client product owner in prioritizing backlog
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate knowledge of NPSP and/or EDU products and features
- Lead implementation solutions in multiple Clouds and conduct proactive QA on the team’s solutions
- Show a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Provide mentorship and facilitate knowledge-sharing and growth opportunities for Business Analysts
- Deliver project assignments on time with excellence
