Chief of Staff – Services in the USA or Canada

The Chief of Staff – Services will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), leading the Shared Services function within Cloud for Good.  As a trusted advisor and problem solver, the Chief of Staff will help streamline decision-making, lead cross-functional initiatives, and ensure leaders have the insights, processes, and support needed to scale effectively. 

Location: Virtual: Home-based office in the US or Canada 

Work Authorization: Citizens or Permanent Residents of USA or Canada. Cannot provide Visa sponsorship. 

Travel: Maximum 20% 

Key Responsibilities 

Program Management 

  • Lead Program management and cross functional teams focused on: 
  • Mergers and Acquisitions 
  • Global Expansion 
  • Other Strategic Initiatives 

Strategic Leadership & Shared Services 

  • Own the Shared Services function, providing direction across Delivery Excellence, Services Operations, Employee Readiness, and Enablement, Deal Support.   
  • Act as a thought partner to the COO, helping set and monitor priorities, organize execution, and ensure alignment with Cloud for Good’s annual objectives. 
  • Drive operational rhythm for the department, including leadership meetings, strategic planning cadences, and performance reporting. 

Delivery Excellence 

  • Partner with Managing Directors to prioritize and track initiatives that improve delivery quality, standardize methodology, and reduce delivery risk. 
  • Maintain visibility into team performance metrics and translate insights into process improvements. 
  • Report progress on Delivery Excellence initiatives to Services Leadership. 
  • Ensure timely completion of project reviews and related documentation, reinforcing consistent knowledge sharing, compliance, and delivery accountability. 

Services Delivery Operations / Internal Salesforce Support 

  • Serve as the strategic liaison for the internal Salesforce instance as it relates to service delivery needs. 
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Admin team and key stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and ensure alignment with departmental goals. 
  • Drive cross-functional operational improvements by identifying areas for automation, streamlined workflows, and reporting optimization. 
  • Champion use of Salesforce data in decision-making across the Services organization. 

Employee Readiness 

  • Oversee the onboarding and enablement strategy for new Services team members, ensuring consistent and role-specific readiness across delivery roles. 
  • Partner with Enablement and People teams to continuously improve onboarding programs and readiness KPIs. 

Deal Support 

  • Oversee the cross functional RFP and Proposal Response Function 

 

Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, operations, or strategic planning roles, preferably within a professional services or technology environment. 
  • Strong understanding of service delivery operations and metrics. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally to manage complex initiatives with competing priorities. 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce as an internal operational platform. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide senior leaders. 
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term planning and short-term execution.
