Cloud for Good, the Nonprofit and Higher Education Partner of the Year for Salesforce, is seeking Data Practice Lead to manage large data migration projects with nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. This role is responsible for driving innovation in data and integration services at Cloud for Good.
Successful candidates will be ETL experts (i.e. Jitterbit, Informatica, Boomi, MuleSoft) and be able to demonstrate expert-level skills and knowledge in designing and implementing data migrations. Experience with Salesforce, NPSP, and EDA are a plus. Candidates should have a strong understanding of relational databases, SOQL, and SQL.
Location: Virtual: Home-based office in the US or Canada
Work Authorization: Citizens or Permanent Residents of USA or Canada. Cannot provide Visa sponsorship.
Travel: 10-20%
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Designing and implementing data migration and system integration solutions
- Researching new technologies and tools and assessing their use at Cloud for Good
- Working with technical leadership positions to define and implement Cloud for Good’s data and integration strategy
- Developing data assets to support sales and services
- Familiarity in working with data migration resources (Azure virtual servers and related resources)
- Providing sales support to solution and scope data migration and integration projects
- Managing data specialist team members through 1:1 meetings
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Experience transforming and migrating data to Salesforce via data loading tools and ETL tools (e.g., Jitterbit, Informatica, Boomi, Mules), including creating an initial data map
- At least 4 years of consulting experience
- Strong understanding of relational database architecture, SOQL, and SQL
- Understanding of agile methodology
- Strong Salesforce configuration knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity working with nonprofits and/or higher education institutions

Main Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead data resource on Salesforce implementation projects
- Create and iterate data conversion maps
- Evaluate, design, and implement data migration solutions for nonprofit and higher education clients
- Plan all aspects of iterative data migration and coordinate with the project manager to align with the overall project plan
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate knowledge of NPSP and/or EDA
- Assess client business requirements to design architecturally-sound solutions
- Deliver on project assignments on time and within budget
- Perpetually contribute to the betterment of Cloud for Good
- Show a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Provide informal mentorship and facilitate knowledge-sharing and growth opportunities to customer satisfaction
