Cloud for Good is seeking an Information Technology Lead to build the internal technology department within the organization. The IT Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing Cloud for Good’s internal technology infrastructure and IT Security. This role will report to the VP, People + Operations. It will develop an IT department leadership, vision, and direction to support the growth and scaling of business priorities, objectives, and security requirements. Finally, the person leading this work will manage Cloud for Good’s SOC certification process.

Main Responsibilities
- Lead Cloud for Good’s Overall Internal Technology Strategy
- Define the organization’s internal technology vision, priorities, and roadmap
- Assess and document current IT systems and infrastructure.
- Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs
- Identify gaps and technology needs and make recommendations to support CFG’s growth
- As business analyst, recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures based on findings and organizational requirements
- Maintain and establish IT vendor relationships (examples: Microsoft, Azure, IT help desk, IT security)
- Establish, monitor, and assess effective third-party vendor/supplier agreements and relationships
- Revise and negotiate annual contracts and services (help desk, IT security, licensing)
- Develop and manage IT budgets outlining the technology investments that deliver the most enterprise value
- Maintain company hardware and software programs
- Investigate / partner with service providers to promptly service tickets
- Support and implement cost-effective software tools for the employee base
- Partner with Cloud for Good’s Technology Services team and other business functions to optimize CFG’s internal tech stack and supports
- Review build vs. buys decisions whenever significant upgrades or new functionality is required
- Implement company-wide technology updates and hold sessions to train employees about new features
- Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergencies or data loss
- Explore new technology advancements and implement next-generation tools to replace legacy systems where appropriate
- Manage Cloud for Good’s IT Security and privacy
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information
- Manage any IT incidents to resolution
- Communicate with impacted stakeholders/employees
- Serve as CFG’s Security and Privacy officer
- Evaluate the company’s adherence to technical requirements for security & privacy
- Lead Cloud for Good’s Soc 1 Certification process and achieve SOC certification
- Partner with Sales + Services leaders to own completion of all client IT Security assessments, questionnaires, and audits
- Oversee annual penetration testing
- Oversee quarterly vulnerability audits
- Manage annual IT Security roadmap and investments
- Partner with Cloud for Good Technology and Data Services teams and internal Salesforce Product Owner to optimize the organization’s virtual machines, cloud environments, and internal Salesforce instance
Qualifications + Education Requirements
Information Technology Experience and Skills
- 5+ years as a Technical Manager, driving IT and Info Security leadership for a growing organization
- Experience in professional services a plus
- Desktop, Helpdesk, and Cloud support expertise
- Ability to solve technical problems quickly and efficiently
- Experience growing a technology function within an organization, including team management
- Experience in professional services a plus
- Licensing and Systems Experience
- Microsoft Suite (O365) and Azure Administrator licenses
- Administrator/Advanced administration in Salesforce.com
- SQL working knowledge
Information Security Experience and Skills
- Understanding of NIST Security Framework
- Experience leading SOC certification processes
- Experience achieving and maintaining security certifications
- Salesforce security best practice application
- Strong abilities with roles, profiles, sharing, record types, permission sets
- Experience with Key management or SFDC Shield experience would be a plus
