Cloud for Good is seeking an exceptional sales leader to join the team as our Director of Sales in the Higher Education Practice. The Director will be responsible for setting and executing Cloud for Good’s sales strategy for our consulting services in the Higher Education sector. This leader will assume responsibility for the company’s Higher Education sales goals, as well as management of a growing account executive team to help drive Cloud for Good’s growth. The Director will report to the CRO.
Successful candidates will be highly experienced in selling Salesforce solutions for Higher Education Organizations and/or in selling professional Salesforce services, have strong project management skills, exhibit leadership and sales management skills, and have a track record of exceptional quota attainment.
Location: Virtual, home office in US or Canada
Work Authorization: Citizens or Permanent Residents of USA or Canada. Cannot provide Visa sponsorship.

Skills, Qualifications, and Education Requirements:
- Senior Sales leadership: First-line experience leading teams in enterprise sales
- Passion for serving and working with Higher Education organizations
- 5+ years in software services sales
- Ability and comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Thrives in operating in a fast change environment where not all processes are well–defined
- Consistent over-achievement of quota and revenue goals
- Experience calling on C-suite – aligning with regional executives, AEs, and internal leadership teams to present a single vision for our customers
- Strong operational and analytical abilities
- Bachelor degree strongly preferred
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CRO to set and execute a customer acquisition strategy for scale in a mature market
- Generate annual growth in bookings for our cross-cloud Salesforce services business in the Higher Education vertical
- Be accountable for all aspects of the Cloud for Good Sales Higher Education Team, including sales quotas and goals, sales pipelines, and sales processes
- Build and cultivate relationships with the Salesforce license sales organization where you can co-sell
- Work in close partnership with our internal Services organization, Marketing Team and Partner Alliance Manager
- Be responsible for leading pre-sales activities with Sales and Solution Engineering teams, such as scoping, visioning, and preparing high-level pitches
- Experience with RFP processes and strategic sales approaches
- Maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies for expanding marketing and engagement solutions for Higher Education customers
- Create and deliver the executive point of view for Salesforce services and engagement transformation for our customers
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

- Travel Requirements
- All roles at Cloud for Good include a travel component. Business travel—both domestic and international—may be required based on project and client needs. The amount of travel will vary by role but is generally expected to be up to 20% annually. Travel is considered an essential part of this position and supports effective client engagement, collaboration, and company representation.

- Cloud for Good is a fully remote company. Team members are expected to maintain a professional, distraction-free workspace that is camera-ready for video meetings. Collaboration takes place across Zoom, Office 365, Salesforce, and Slack during standard business hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone).

- As a team member, you may be required to adjust your work hours to align with your key client’s time zone to support effective communication, collaboration, and project delivery. Flexibility and coordination with your Project Lead (Services) will help ensure success in this client-facing role.
